Morrissey’s extensive experience, spanning leadership roles at BDO USA shaped Morrissey Jones’ unique methodology, blending expertise in business development with a keen focus on people-centric growth strategies. At BDO, Morrissey was pivotal in driving an astonishing 5,900% revenue growth within her group, redefined go-to-market strategies, and led the expansion of services that contributed to the company’s exponential growth—from $700 million to $2.8 billion in revenue. An active member of The Outlier Project (TOP) and a former board member of the Boston College Club and the Boston College McMullen Museum of Art, she is dedicated to fostering personal and professional development.
Dan is a business development executive that is known for his ability to build long lasting relationships with corporate leaders. With an impressive breadth of knowledge and experience in dealing with the accounting, audit, taxation, and advisory needs of both privately and publicly held companies with both domestic and international operations, Dan has led relationship management efforts to reach record-breaking sales throughout his career.
A native of Worcester, MA, Dan began his career as a practicing CPA with PwC and Laventhol & Horwath. Following a start in recruiting at Winter Wyman & Company, Dan co-founded Atlantic Search Group which he grew into being one of New England’s leading recruitment firms prior to a sale to a publicly held company in the mid 2000. For over the last decade, Dan was the Director of Business Development for BDO in the New England Region and has assisted the firm in becoming one of the leading global professional services firms serving clients with operations throughout the globe.
As a Co-founder of Morrissey Jones, Inc., Dan’s 40-plus year career of assisting professional services firms has helped to design the company’s approach of focusing on the individual challenges faced by each leader within a firm in building relationships within the marketplace. “Morrissey Jones enables professional firms to adopt a day-to-day approach of accelerating business development efforts by focusing on strengthening existing and building new relationships with key contacts within the community.” Dan’s ability to coach and mentor high-performing teammates is central to Morrissey Jones’ success. Dan is a 1981 graduate of Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. Beyond his professional achievements, Dan has remained focus on his Jesuit roots of “Men and Women for Others” by former service on the boards of ACG Boston and Boston Cristo Rey High School. Dan resides in Chatham, MA with his wife, Margart.
